Ivana Vladimirova is a 37-year-old mother, wife, daughter, and sister from Bulgaria.
At just 15 years old, she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a severe form of bone cancer. Her battle began with multiple surgeries and chemotherapy treatments that changed her life forever.
Despite everything she endured, Ivana never stopped fighting. She completed her studies, built a family, became a mother, and worked hard to create the future she dreamed of.
For many years, it seemed that the worst was behind her.
Unfortunately, life had other plans.
Today, Ivana faces one of the most difficult battles of her life, and time is running out.
Most people never think about the simple act of walking.
Walking with your family.
Walking through a park.
Walking beside your child.
For Ivana, these simple moments have become increasingly difficult.
After years of living with an artificial knee replacement, serious complications began to appear. What started as discomfort slowly evolved into severe pain and instability.
Medical examinations revealed devastating news.
Her prosthesis had deteriorated and required another major revision surgery.
Unfortunately, every revision surgery becomes more complex than the previous one. Each operation reduces the chances of long-term success and increases the risk of losing her leg permanently.
Specialists have recommended treatment in Germany, where she has the best opportunity to preserve her leg and regain her mobility.
The problem is simple.
The treatment is expensive.
Far beyond what her family can currently afford.
Today, Ivana relies on crutches and a leg brace to move around.
The longer she waits, the more difficult daily life becomes.
Her muscles continue to weaken.
The strain on her healthy leg continues to increase.
Activities many of us take for granted are becoming harder every day.
Simple family outings.
Playing with her child.
Walking outside.
Living independently.
These are the things she is fighting to preserve.
This campaign is not about luxury.
It is not about comfort.
It is about giving a mother the opportunity to keep walking beside her child.
