The problems seen most often with Binco Shops, what causes them and how to fix them. Almost all of them come from another map streaming the same files, or from a player's game keeping old files.
Installation and Loading#
The store still has the old GTA V interior
Work through these in order:
The resource is started: the console shows
Started resource quasar_bincoand yourserver.cfghas itsensureline, or the category it is in.The whole server was restarted, not only the resource.
No other map streams the same files. Search the
streamfolders of your other maps forv_int_51.ytyp,v_clotheslo.ybnand any file ending in_interior_v_clotheslo_milo_.ymap. The full list is in Usage. The player's FiveM cache is clean (next entry).
It works for me but not for some players
Those players have old map files in their FiveM cache. Ask them to close FiveM, delete the cache, server-cache and server-cache-priv folders inside %localappdata%\FiveM\FiveM.app\data, and reconnect.
Only some of the stores have the new interior
All seven stores share one interior, so if it shows in one store it is installed. A store that still looks old or broken has another map for that area streaming its placement file or its building. Check the files listed for that store in Usage against your other maps.
I teleported into a store and fell through the floor
The store had not loaded when you arrived. Interiors stream in as you approach, and a teleport can land you before the floor's collision is ready. Add 1.0 to the Z coordinate from the Map Guide and wait a moment before moving.
Visual Problems#
Walls flicker, or two buildings overlap
Two maps are placing a building in the same spot, usually another clothing store MLO or a map that rebuilds the same block. Keep one of them, or check that the other map streams none of the files in Usage.
From far away the store looks different, or the old shop shows through the windows
Another map is replacing the distant version (LOD) of that block. Look in your other maps for files ending in _slod_children for the same area, such as dt1_15_slod1_children in Textile City.
Textures are blurry, missing or flash grey
The player's game has run out of texture memory, which happens on servers with many detailed maps and clothing packs. Lowering Texture Quality in the game's graphics settings, or raising the extended texture budget, usually fixes it.
The mirror looks blurry
The mirror is drawn by each player's game and follows their graphics settings. A higher Reflection Quality gives a sharper image. Nothing on the server changes it.
Doors and Clothing Menus#
The front door cannot be locked
The pack does not lock doors by itself. Locks come from a door lock script such as Doorlock Creator. The front entrance is a double door, so set it up with both qs_binco_door leaves. See Integrations.
The door locks and unlocks by itself
Two scripts control the same door. Remove the door from one of them so a single system owns it.
The clothing menu does not open inside the store
The map has no menu of its own: the clothing menu comes from your clothing script. Either that store has no shop in your script, or the shop's zone or point does not reach where the player stands. Edit or draw the shop so it covers the sales floor, as shown in Integrations.
The player ends up inside a rack when the clothing menu opens
Your clothing script moves the player to a fixed preview point that was set for the original GTA V interior. The new layout puts furniture there. Move that point to open floor, ideally facing the large mirror.
