Loading Screen Creator replaces the default FiveM loading screen with one you design inside the game. Type /loadingcreator, drag modules onto a 1920 × 1080 canvas — your server name, a progress bar that follows the real load, music, a video backdrop, rules, news, staff and social links — press Set live, and the next player who connects already sees it.
What separates it from template loading screens is that nothing is typed into a file. Every screen is designed visually with layers, handles and an inspector, like a graphics editor. It goes live without a restart. And it depends on nothing: no database, no ox_lib, no oxmysql. A loading screen has to draw before every other resource, so it ships with seven finished themes built into the interface and works on ESX, QBCore, Qbox, qs-core or standalone.
Where to start#
Page | What it covers |
|---|---|
Requirements (none), download, server.cfg, where themes are stored, creator access and your media folders. | |
The creator, the built-in themes, backgrounds and music, the 19 modules, going live, sharing themes and how the screen closes. | |
Frameworks, permissions, notifications, Multicharacter and spawn selectors, and the 41 languages. | |
The creator command, plus the exports and events for closing the screen and switching themes from your own scripts. | |
What each problem means and how to fix it, from a screen that never closes to a black video. |
What it does#
Area | Details |
|---|---|
Visual creator | A Photoshop-style editor in game: a canvas with drag and resize handles, a layer stack, an inspector, a grid, a safe area, undo and redo, and a full-screen preview that uses the exact renderer players get. |
Modules | 19 building blocks in four groups: text, image, shape, icon and effects; progress bar, spinner, server info and clock; tips, news, rules, staff, social links and countdown; music player, sound toggle, slideshow and video. |
Motion | An entrance animation and a looping motion per module — float, sway, pulse, glitch, shimmer and more — so the screen keeps moving after everything has arrived. Text can even write itself by hand. |
Backgrounds and music | Colour and gradients, an image, a slideshow with Ken Burns zoom, or a WebM video. A soundtrack playlist with shuffle, loop and fade-in, and one master mute that each player's game remembers. |
Real progress | The progress bar and percentage read the game's own loading events, eased so they never freeze, with a live status line of what is loading right now. |
Themes | Seven built-in themes — Cinematic, Midnight, Neon, Welcome, Cyberpunk, Aurora and Overdrive — up to 50 of your own, and theme codes that move a design to another server in one paste. |
Going live | Set live reaches the next player who connects, and the ones loading at that moment. No restart, no config file, and the last screen a player saw is cached so a custom design never flashes the default. |
Seamless handoff | The screen stays up until your multicharacter or spawn selector is ready, then hands over with no empty world in between. A safety ceiling makes sure nobody is ever stuck on it. |
Performance | Slow PCs get the background video held on its first frame, or a lighter |
Languages | The creator ships in 41 languages, from English and Spanish to Arabic, Japanese and Chinese. |
Driving it from your own scripts? A multicharacter or spawn selector closes the screen with one export, and a server script can switch the live theme for an event night. See Commands and Exports.
