Quasar Framework (qs-core) is the multi-framework for FiveM: one roleplay core that runs ESX scripts, QBCore scripts and its own scripts on the same server, at the same time, without touching a single line of their code. Choosing between ESX and QBCore used to mean giving up half of the scripts on the market. With Quasar Framework that choice is gone — every player has one character, one wallet and one inventory, whichever framework a script was written for.
It is not a fork. Quasar Framework is written from scratch, ships a complete and playable roleplay base — characters, inventory, every GTA weapon, jobs, police, EMS, banking, vehicles, chat, HUD and an admin menu — and installs from txAdmin in one click. It is hyper-optimized for a very low resmon, translated into 10 languages and free and open source under GPL-3.0.

Why Quasar Framework#
Advantage | Details |
|---|---|
All in one | ESX, QBCore and Quasar Framework scripts on a single server. No more "this script is only for QB", no rewriting resources, no maintaining two frameworks. |
One player, one truth | Every compatibility layer reads and writes the same player: jobs, money, items and metadata are shared across ESX and QBCore scripts. |
Hyper-optimized | Event-driven by design. Nothing runs every frame while idle, and the few per-frame tasks — holding the item wheel, getting into a vehicle — only run for as long as they are needed. |
Complete out of the box | Multicharacter, clothing, inventory, 105 weapons, shops, needs, vehicle keys, garages, dealership, banking, jobs, police, EMS, drugs, chat, HUD and an admin menu. |
One click with txAdmin | A recipe sets up the database, a commented |
One theme | Every interface reads the same palette, so a single change reskins the whole server. |
10 languages | English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Turkish and Arabic. |
Free and open source | GPL-3.0. Read it, change it, ship it. |

Frequently asked questions#
Is Quasar Framework a fork of ESX or QBCore?
No. It is written from scratch. The ESX and QBCore compatibility layers reproduce those frameworks' public APIs on top of Quasar Framework so their scripts keep working; parts of those layers derive from ESX Legacy and QBCore, both GPL-3.0, and are credited in the NOTICE file.
Can I run ESX and QBCore scripts on the same server?
Yes — that is the point. The es_extended and qb-core bridges run together, and both talk to the same player. A script finds them exactly as it would find the real frameworks.
Do I have to edit my ESX or QBCore scripts?
No. Scripts that use the framework's core object, its events and its usual helpers run as they are. If a script ships its own items or jobs, you add those once — see ESX & QBCore Compatibility.
Can I install the real ESX or QBCore next to it?
No. The bridges already answer as es_extended and qb-core; running the real frameworks too would load two cores for the same players.
Is it free?
Yes. Quasar Framework is free and open source under GPL-3.0.
Does it work with Qbox?
Scripts that support QBCore work through the QBCore bridge. Scripts written only for Qbox (qbx_core) are not supported yet.
Which languages are included?
English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Turkish and Arabic, switched with one line in server.cfg.
