Treasure Hunting (qs-treasure-hunter) is a full treasure hunter job for FiveM. Players talk to one NPC, take a hunt and go to work: they sweep a beach with a metal detector and dig up buried chests, take a rented boat out and dive for sunken crates, or crack the cipher of an ancient chest as a crew by reading three totems standing around it. Whatever they find goes back to the same NPC's shop, along with their keys, maps and gear.
Everything around the hunts is there too: crews of up to four with real invitations, an endless level system with five perks, daily and monthly leaderboards that pay the top three, a server-wide legendary chest that the first player to solve it wins, boat rentals with an anchor, and an in-game guide built from your live config. Every location, every roll, every payout and every code is decided on the server, so a modified client cannot invent loot or money.

What It Does#
Area | Details |
|---|---|
Metal detector hunt | A search circle on the map, a streamed detector prop, a HUD whose signal and beeping tighten as you close in, and a dig that ends with the chest hauled out of the sand. |
Underwater hunt | Lit crates placed on the real sea bed, diving gear with mask, tank and an oxygen gauge, and treasure keys spent per crate. |
Ancient chest | A tomb and three totems: a decoding key, a shuffled coded phrase and a beacon that keeps both readings steady. A fresh substitution cipher per chest, re-encrypted after too many wrong answers. |
Legendary chest | A server-wide event that can wake after an ancient chest is cracked. Anyone can solve it, and the first correct answer takes the whole prize. |
Crews | Invitations by player id with a distance check, kick and leave, crew tiles with each member's face, shared progress, and a payout per member or split between them. |
Levels | Endless levelling with five perks: detector range, oxygen, dig speed, extra loot and rare finds, capped at a level you choose. |
Shop and boats | Buy equipment, keys and maps with level locks, sell every find at fixed prices, and rent four tiers of boat with a timer, an anchor and a refund on return. |
Leaderboard | All-time, monthly season and daily rankings, money for the top three at each reset, and rewards banked for winners who were offline. |
Compatibility | ESX, QBCore and Qbox, nine inventories, ox_target and qb-target, eleven vehicle key systems, and the Discord logs every Quasar job shares. |
Languages | Eight translations: EN · ES · FR · DE · IT · PT · RU · TR, with English filling in any key a language is missing. |
Driving it from your own scripts? An NPC manager opens the panel with one export, a police or EMS script can ask whether somebody is out hunting, and an admin tool can start the legendary chest on demand. See Commands and Exports.
