Before You Begin#
Deathmatch has no hard dependencies and no database. All lobbies live in memory, so there is no SQL to import.
Requirement | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
OneSync | Required | Matches use routing buckets and the |
Framework | Optional |
|
Ambulance resource | Recommended | Revives players between rounds. See the supported list in Integrations. |
ox_inventory / qs-inventory | Optional | Locks the weapon wheel during matches. |
qs-textui | Optional | Nicer 3D prompt at the entrance. |
Every optional integration is detected automatically when the resource starts. If something is missing, that feature simply falls back to the GTA default.
Downloading Deathmatch#
After purchasing Deathmatch, the resource is linked to your CFX Portal account. Sign in to the CFX Portal with the same account used during checkout, open Granted Assets and download qs-deathmatch.
After extracting the download, you should have the following folder:
qs-deathmatch/
├── shared/config.lua -- all settings
├── locales/ -- 29 languages
├── client/custom/ -- framework, ambulance and inventory bridges
├── server/custom/ -- framework, ambulance, FiveGuard and quests
├── html/ -- the menu and HUD
└── apiExamples.lua -- examples of the exports and eventsThe folder must be named
qs-deathmatch. The resource checks its own name on start and closes the server console if it was renamed.
Installing the Resource#
Move the qs-deathmatch folder into your server's resources directory, then add it to your server.cfg after everything it should detect:
# Framework
ensure es_extended # or qb-core / qbx_core
# Optional — start them before Deathmatch
ensure esx_ambulancejob # or your ambulance resource
ensure ox_inventory # or qs-inventory
ensure qs-textui
# Deathmatch
ensure qs-deathmatchThe loading order matters. Framework, ambulance and inventory are detected once, when Deathmatch starts. A resource that starts later is not seen.
Configuring the Resource#
Every setting lives in shared/config.lua. Each value is tagged: [EDIT] is safe to change, [ADV] only if you know what it does, and [CORE] / [AUTO] should be left alone.
Language#
Config.Language = 'en'
-- ar, bg, ca, cs, da, de, el, en, es, fa, fr, he, hi, hu, it,
-- jp, ko, nl, no, pl, pt, ro, ru, sl, sv, th, tk, tr, zhThe value must match a file in locales/. The same file translates the in-game texts and the menu.
Entrance marker and blip#
The entrance is where players open the Deathmatch menu. By default it is at the Port of Los Santos.
Config.SpotEnable = true
Config.Marker = {
DrawDistance = 10,
