Deathmatch detects the resources below automatically when it starts. Make sure they start before qs-deathmatch in your server.cfg, or they are not detected. Every bridge is open in client/custom/ and server/custom/, so renamed or custom resources can be adapted.
Frameworks#
Resource | Detected as | Player identifier |
|---|---|---|
| esx | identifier |
| qb | citizenid |
| qb | citizenid |
none | standalone | Rockstar license |
The framework is only used for server callbacks, player identifiers and creating quests when a player loads in. Standalone mode ships its own callback system. If you renamed your framework, edit the table at the top of shared/config.lua or the files in client/custom/framework/ and server/custom/framework/.
Ambulance Jobs#
Players are revived through your ambulance resource between rounds and at the end of the match.
Resource | Detected as |
|---|---|
| qb |
| esx |
| wasabi |
| ars |
| qbx |
| piotreq |

Each one has two small files: server/custom/ambulances/<name>.lua defines RevivePlayer(source), and client/custom/ambulances/<name>.lua defines IsPlayerDead(), used together with GTA's own death check.
Adding Another Ambulance#
-- server/custom/ambulances/myambulance.lua
if Config.Ambulance ~= 'myambulance' then return end
function RevivePlayer(src)
TriggerClientEvent('my_ambulance:revive', src)
end
-- client/custom/ambulances/myambulance.lua
if Config.Ambulance ~= 'myambulance' then return end
function IsPlayerDead()
return LocalPlayer.state.isDead == true
end
-- shared/config.lua, inside the ambulances table
['my_ambulance_resource'] = 'myambulance',If no ambulance is detected, the server console prints Your ambulance is not supported. every time a player should be revived.
Inventories#
During a match the weapon wheel is locked so players can only use the lobby weapon. It unlocks when the match ends.

For another inventory, copy client/custom/inventory/ox.lua, change the check, implement WeaponWheel(toggle), and add the resource to the inventories table in shared/config.lua.
Quasar Advanced Inventory Quests#
With qs-inventory running, three quests are created for every player when they load in. Titles, rewards and levels are in server/custom/missions.lua.
Quest | Title | Reward | Level | Progress |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Game Master | 250 | 2 | Completed when the player creates a lobby. |
| Getting in the Zone | 200 | 1 | +20% per lobby joined (5 joins). |
| Match Winner | 300 | 2 | Completed by the server event |
FiveGuard#
Config.FiveGuard = 'fiveguard' -- your FiveGuard resource name, or falseDuring rounds the player gets temporary BypassFreecam, BypassNoclip, BypassSpectate, BypassSpoofedWeapons and BypassWeaponBlacklist permissions, so spectator mode and the match weapons are not flagged. They are removed when the match ends.
Quasar TextUI and Smartphone#
Resource | What it does |
|---|---|
| The entrance prompt uses its 3D text. Otherwise a native GTA 3D text is drawn. |
| SOS is disabled when a match starts and enabled again when it ends. |
Deathmatch also fires the local events
holsterweapon:ResetAllat every round start andplayerSpawnedon respawn. For its own events and exports, see Commands and Exports.
