What goes wrong most often with Digital Den Shops, what it actually means, and how to fix it. Almost every case comes down to one of three things: the server key, the files arriving intact, or another map fighting over the same block.
Installation and Access#
"You lack the required entitlement to use qs_digitalden"
The server key in server.cfg belongs to a different Cfx.re account than the one that bought the map. Escrow-protected assets only load on a server whose key was created by the owning account.
Sign in to portal.cfx.re with the account that holds the asset.
Create a server key there and put it in
sv_licenseKey.Restart the whole server — restarting the resource is not enough.
"Failed to verify protected resource"
The files were damaged on the way to the server — most often by an FTP client uploading in text (ASCII) mode, or by an archive that was not fully extracted.
Download the map again from the portal.
Upload it with your FTP client set to binary transfer, or upload the zip and extract it on the server.
Replace the whole
qs_digitaldenfolder, never single files.
"Couldn't find resource qs_digitalden"
The server cannot see the folder. Check that it sits inside resources/ (a [category] folder is fine), that it is not nested twice (qs_digitalden/qs_digitalden/), and that the ensure line matches the folder name exactly.
In Game#
The store is closed, or the interior is empty
The map is not reaching the player. Work through it in order:
The server console shows
Started resource qs_digitaldenwith no escrow error before it.No other map replaces the same section — see the next entry.
Clear the FiveM cache: close FiveM and delete the
cache,server-cacheandserver-cache-privfolders insideFiveM Application Data/data.
Holes, floating props, flickering or doubled walls near a store
Another resource streams the same vanilla section. Whichever map starts last overwrites the other, so you see half of each.
Search your
resourcesfolder for the names listed in Installation → What the Map Replaces — for examplesm_11_bld2.ydrorkt1_11_apt_02.ydr.If another map has them, keep only one of the two for that location. Two maps rebuilding the same building cannot be merged by load order.
Textures are blurry or load late
The game's texture budget is full, which is common on servers with many custom maps. In FiveM, open Settings → Game and turn on Extended Texture Budget. If it continues, look at what else you stream around that store.
Falling through the floor after a teleport
Collision streams in a fraction of a second after the building. A teleport from across the map straight inside can land the player before it arrives. Teleport to the entrance instead, or have your script wait for HasCollisionLoadedAroundEntity after a RequestCollisionAtCoord before releasing the player.
The door lock does not find the door
Be near it. The doors only exist within 200 m of a player.
Check the model.
qs_digital_den_ext_doorfor the front,qs_digital_den_int_doorfor the staff door.Register the front as one double door. Both leaves together, not two single doors.
Copy, do not type. Take coordinates and headings from the Map Guide; hand-typed values that are off may not match.
There are no blips, shops or shopkeepers
Correct behaviour. The pack is the building only. Add the blips, shops and door locks you want from Integrations.
Still stuck? Open a ticket and include the console lines around
qs_digitalden, the other maps you run near that store, and a screenshot with your in-game coordinates.
